Dear Boaters,
Spring is here and we are just a few short weeks away from the official start of Summer. Memorial Day begins, for many, the time when we plan many outdoor events including those on the water. It is also one of the most dangerous days for accidents.
Always check above and below the water temperatures. Remember, life jackets can save your life if you happen to be thrust overboard in cold water conditions.
The weather is brisk and the winds have been fierce. So since we may be staying home, there are still many ways to enjoy the cold winter days, and nights. Join fellow Oyster Bay members for Pop-Up and planned events.

In addition, our instructors have been Certified by the United States Power Squadrons/America's Boating Club to teach the community about 'boating safety.' Each class is presented professionally and students can be confident that all materials presented are top quality.
Our NEW On-Line courses, with a live instructor, can bring our classroom to your HOME.
Our "HOME Classroom" will enable you to take the NY State-required Basic 8-hour classroom course from your home / office or any location that has an internet connection.
You'll have everything at your fingertips: Computer, Book, Live Instructor, and an outstanding assembly of important boat safety information.
We are the America Boating Club for over 104 years. Teaching and enjoying boating activities and civic service in our communities.
